KNOWLEDGE AND PERCEPTION OF MOTHERS REGARDING CHILD IMMUNIZATION IN A TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL PUNJAB, PAKISTAN

Child immunization stands out amongst the best intelligent divulgences at any point. It shields adolescents from becoming sick and dead appalling diseases, diminishing pain of various guardians. In this study, a quantitative cross-sectional study design is used. The self-administered questionnaire used to measure knowledge perception mothers regarding child immunization. data was analyzed using SPSS version 18 Microsoft Excel. Regarding sources knowledge, 70% responded that they got information about their Health worker in town, 2% had through mass media, i.e., television, social etc., 100 participants 8% asked neighborhood, 20% nearest hospital/ health care setup. This concluded most given by workers, perceived vaccination important for children, but few them as ineffective.
